Overall, windows OneCare Exceeds exceeds expectations

A few days ago, my free 90-day trial of Windows OneCare expired. It still runs, but no longer reciaves updates. In it's time that it had to run, it caught a total of 9 viruses, then 6 more when i tried to download techno musicc from limewire. XD   Would i buy it if I had some money? yes. Can i buy it? no, again, no money. However, if you do buy it, it will protect up to five computers under the same subscription (you can do this in the trail too, i just never got around to it). So, as a final note, it is well worth the 50 bucks that it costs for a subscription. But as reading rainbow always said, don't take my word for it, take the trial edition's word for it-http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/install/install.htm

Now let's tawk tewk for a moment, as pixie would put it. The ONLY way to completly secure your computer, is to have a unix-based operating system i.e. linux, mac OS X, freeBSD, open Solaris, etc.
Otherwise, all you can do with windows is put a little guardman outside of the straw hut named your computer. Linux is a bit more like a castle. with a moat. and an army of archers. and a dragon. and wooden defense spikes. and stone walls. did i mention a moat?
